• The total commitment — the initial rental plus every monthly rental across the term.
• The annual mileage allowance, and whether it matches your real driving.
• The excess mileage rate charged per mile above that allowance.
• Whether maintenance is included, and exactly what it covers.
• The contract length, and how long you are willing to be committed.
• The specification and trim level of the exact derivative quoted.
• Delivery arrangements and expected lead time.
• The fair wear and tear standard the car will be inspected against.
